SAP S4HANA is being introduced as part of a multi-year digital transformation to simplify and modernize our ERP landscape to enable and accelerate Zimmer Biomet’s strategic priorities.
The implementation of SAP will enable a more common set of processes, data, and integrated capabilities within Zimmer Biomet, resulting in a more simplified and efficient customer experience.
Zimmer US, Inc. dba Zimmer Biomet. Zimmer Inc., sales activity will merge into Zimmer US, Inc.’s legal entity.
Biomet Microfixation dba Zimmer Biomet CMF & Thoracic will merge into the existing Zimmer US, Inc., legal entity which is dba Zimmer Biomet third quarter 2024.

No problem. Zimmer Biomet will be providing customer communications to many of our group customers for distribution to group members.
Local sales teams will also be reaching out to customers and their office staff will be available to assist you with any integration questions that you might have.
Yes. All customers will be receiving new customer account numbers. You will be notified of your new account numbers in the final customer communication that will be available first quarter 2024.
Yes. Some of you may currently be using abbreviated catalog numbers. Those items numbers will need to be updated to the registered item numbers.
There are no expected changes to existing GTINs.

Open ship and bill & bill only orders will be canceled / reentered into SAP the weekend prior to the effective date.
Yes. On the effective date, all new orders will be processed using the new SAP S4HANA customer account numbers.
Please ensure all purchase orders are issued to Zimmer U.S., Inc. using the new customer account number.
No. However, please discuss all product returns with your local Zimmer Biomet sales office as some products may require a Returned Goods Authorization or other special handling instructions.

You will continue to receive the same level of professional support from your current local Zimmer Biomet sales representative and sales office.
No. All current pricing agreements will be in SAP prior to the effective date.
